Do not be an early bird to update you iPhone to iOS 14.5 as it always does not pay off.

Apple has recently launched  iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5. It has quite a few good updates like fancy new face id, new Siri Voice making it compatible to the ongoing pandemic as now you can use your phone while wearing a mask.

After knowing about the updates, it would be urge everybody to update to the latest OS but it might turn in to a headache later. Hence, it is advised not to rush for the update and wait a while before updating to the new OS.

There are 2 main reasons that can be considered not to update the OS so soon;

  1. The Bug pops up once in a while:

Not so frequent but at certain times, the second update have ruined the handset may it be the iPhone or the iPad. Like, this one happened in the year 2016, bricked Apple’s iPad Pro, this update ruined the phone completely. Some updates ruin the already repaired phones that it completely stops working.

So it is always very difficult to go back to the previous Operating system and hence it is good to wait before rushing to the new update. If any problem occurs within few days of the update, Apple will bring the second update which will be safer to update.

2. Not every app will be ready on the launch day itself;

The apps will not be optimized according to the release date of the OS update. It takes developers time to adapt to the new change that Apple is bringing for the iPhones and iPads.

Mostly there won’t be any problem with the apps but sometimes app developers might not get ready for the updates which may cause issues with the apps.

By taking some time to update to the new OS, the developers will stick to the new OS and optimize their apps accordingly. This will definitely help you from not getting stuck into problems.

So, always wait for a week or more after the release of new OS to avoid creating issues to your iPhone or iPad.
