Independence Community College in Kansas has concentrated on one of the most memorable seasons. And Jason Brown leads them to victory.

Junior College is the last opportunity numerous athletes have to prove themselves and turn their lives around. Brown has grown up in Compton and has been able to communicate with these men. He’d lead a tumultuous life off the field, but at the junior college level, Brown achieved tremendous success on the track. Jason went to play for varsity and spent some time in the Football NFL and Arena. He gradually returned to coaching, first at Compton City College (where he started playing), then at Garden City College, and finally to Freedom. He led the Kansas team to a championship in the division.

Coach Jason Brown’s year wasn’t the best as the former football coach charged with eight felony offenses after being charged with stealing the lawyer’s identity, notes Parsons Sun. Brown faces four extortion charges, four identity fraud charges, and two misdemeanor counts of fake criminal contact.
Jason’s hearing on cases
Jason Brown’s hearing is on August 22. The Montgomery County judge will see if there is enough evidence available to warrant a trial or not. When contacted by Football Scoop before the charges, Brown noted that he was surprised and unaware.
Last time many viewers saw Jason Brown, the coach resigned from Independence Community College in season four of Last Chance U.
Why did he resign?
After controversial texts between him and German student Alexandros Alexiou became public Brown resigned from his position as head coach. As per Brown, Alexandros had struggled as a JUCO scout team member in his duties. Brown sent him a text that read, “I’m your new Hitler figure out your life.”
Independence received backlash and cut ties with Brown once it became publicized. Jason has maintained his innocence, however, saying it was an inside joke. Those on the team called him that because it was the cowardly adult act that made a mountain out of a molehill that created it.
What is he up to now?
Jason Brown does not seem if he is coaching again, but he works on a variety of business projects. Recently, the former Indy mentor introduced his new signature cigars and gin Slapdick.
Brown also has his podcast called Slapdick and appears to be active on social media. In addition to the show, Brown stays linked to football via a Patreon subscription offering monthly lessons for players and coaches.
Jason Brown’s Book
In 2019 the former coach of “Last Chance U” also launched his book called “Hate Me Now, Love Me Later.”The story is about his coaching journey and gives fans a look at junior college football from behind the scenes. In a recent Instagram post, Brown called himself retired and criticized coaches for not taking care of their players.
